The challenge
The owner of a metal bucket company had two paint booths with opposite problems.
In the first, paint was mixed by hand — slow, inconsistent and error-prone. In the second, the plant had a mixing system so complex that operators struggled to run it correctly.
The AISECO solution
Rather than putting the same system in both booths, AISECO designed a separate solution for each, fit to the work that booth actually does:
- Booth one: a simple, cost-effective two-color proportioning system for high-volume parts.
- Booth two: an advanced but easy-to-operate system that mixes up to five different paints.
The result
Each booth now has equipment matched to its job — simple where simple works, advanced where it's needed.
Manual mixing errors were designed out of the high-volume booth, and the multi-color booth gained a system its operators can actually run.
Why it matters
The most expensive system isn't the best system. Fitting equipment to the job saves money up front and gets used correctly every day.
