Guns · booths · recovery · cure

Successful powder coating is a system: pretreatment, guns, booth, recovery and cure oven sized to your parts and color changes. Most powder failures are pretreatment failures, so we look at the whole line — whether you're adding a first batch system or upgrading guns on an existing one.

Powder Coating Systems

If you're seeing any of these, we can help — usually starting with a conversation and a visit to your floor.

  • Poor adhesion or film failures on powder-coated parts
  • Thin coverage in corners and recesses (Faraday cage areas)
  • Slow color changes or too much powder wasted
  • Considering a switch from liquid paint to powder
  • An aging powder line that's overdue for replacement
Our approach

Diagnose first. Recommend second. Then make sure your team can run it.

01

Decide liquid vs. powder honestly

Part mix, colors, volumes and finish spec — powder isn't always the answer, and we'll say so.

02

Plan pretreatment first

Cleaning and conversion coating decide adhesion. We size wash or blast steps to your soils and substrates.

03

Right-size guns, booth and recovery

Corona or tribo, spray-to-waste or reclaim — set by how often you change colors.

04

Cure with confidence

Batch or conveyor ovens sized for your largest part, cart and cure schedule.

Right-sized, not upsold

Typical starting points — every recommendation is fit to your parts, coatings, volumes and people.

Have a problem like this?

Describe it in a few sentences and upload photos. We'll come back with questions, a plan and a quote.

Questions we hear

Should we switch from liquid paint to powder?

Powder offers durable finishes and very low VOCs, but needs ovens, pretreatment and planning for color changes. We'll walk through your parts and volumes and give you an honest comparison.

Corona or tribo guns?

Corona is the industry default for most work. Tribo charges by friction and penetrates recesses better, with narrower powder compatibility. Your parts decide.

Can you help with an existing powder line?

Yes — gun upgrades, booth and filter service, recovery improvements and oven troubleshooting.
